“The SideStix are awesome! I went for a short hike with Mom and had so much fun! The studded tips made a huge difference. I am looking forward to using SideStix everyday.” — Sam Riesco (Spina Bifida)
“Sarah! I love my SideStix. I cant say thank you enough. Such a great piece of equipment, really thought out. I use them as my everyday crutch because they are so comfortable. I never noticed the strain my other crutches put on my shoulders and forearms until steadily using SideStix. Thanks. These have allowed me to continue to stay active in periods where mobility seemed incapable.” — Mark Priest (Spinal Cord Injury)
“SideStix are easy to assemble – light – and oh yes, very nice looking. All the attachments are very practical. The first thing I notices was just how quiet they (SideStix) are! No rattling or clunking. The cuff – I loved it right away. The rotation on the tip end and its ability to angulate is another feature that I noticed immediately. Congratulations on such an amazing design.” — Lynda Chyzyk (Amputee)
“The SideStix are a very comfortable pair of crutches for Nicolai and really help with the wrist, palm and forearm discomfort he experiences with other crutches. Please do not underestimate the value of this statement. For everyday use and long distance hiking or climbing, the SideStix will be his first choice among his current crutch options.” — Carl Calabria (Father of Nico Calabria, Congenital Amputee)
“Wow! These are the Lexus of crutches. I have never seen anything of this quality before. Precision adjustment, comfortable handles… I just love walking on them!” — Bonnie St. John, http://BonnieStJohn.com
“Just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love the crutches! My old ones pale in comparison:
1) I love the cuffs – they are super comfortable and secure and don’t flex like my last ones did.
2)The shock unit definitely seems to reduce joint stress.
3) The swivel function reduces wear of the tips a lot – I am still on my first pair (with little wear) which is quite unusual for me. The ankle action seems nice on uneven ground.
4) Overall they are very stable and well designed!” — Sarah Billmeier (Amputee)
“Hi Sarah, Just wanted to tell you that I placed 3rd at the World Championships last weekend. Once I have time to download pics from my camera, I will send them along. My Stix worked great and I can’t thank you enough for your invention.” — Captain Kim Fawcett (Amputee)
“I tried my new SideStix out on 4 types of wet tiled floor yesterday, including stairs, and I can’t even believe how stable they are. I may never fall again. Obvious increase in comfort as well, every step is easier. Thank you for creating something that will make my life a bit easier!” — Sarah Mitchell
Thanks again. After having them for almost 3 weeks, my Sidestix are still making every day easier and more fun! — Mollie Ronge
“My family and I are so grateful to you and your product. It has given my father so much more independence and peace of mind as he was so worried (not to mention our family) about falling with his canes. In addition, we noticed a change with his energy level and his stature as he is now walking more upright.” — Carolyn Hackett (Father with Post Polio)
“The shock feature on the SideStix makes ALL the difference! Such a simple innovation conceptually yet a master stroke of genius!” — Anne Nelson (Nerve Damage)
"My biggest reason for contacting you is to let you know how incredibly happy I am with your crutches and the quality and workmanship that has gone into them. I have a small farm in Virginia that I can now walk through the fields again...I am thrilled that your crutches are exactly what I needed." — James Marye (US Army Veteran)
“I am marvelling over the joint of the SideStix foot. I come from the incomplete paraplegic world so I really haven’t had exposure to artificial limbs. I am enjoying allowing my shoulder joint to internally or externally rotate to its favoured position.” — Jon Arnow (Incomplete Paraplegic)
