Sarah and Kerith of SideStix Ventures Inc. have made their way to Kansas. After a trip to Toronto to film for CBC’s Dragons’ Den, SideStix will be setting up shop at the Amputee Coalition National Conference.
Besides Blues, BBQ’s and even a street party, this conference will look at the what the future holds for the amputee community without forgetting the past work done to get this far. This year’s conference will focus on the difference that this event has on peoples lives. From helping others to becoming the person you always wanted to be; there is always reason for celebration!
Seminars regarding loss, helping other amputees, family issues and enabling technology will all be held over June 2nd to 4th. Visit the exhibit hall where new technologies such as SideStix forearm crutches will be showcased and new perspectives on limb-loss will be explored.
